WSOS provides comprehensive family development, workforce development, education and child care assistance and other support services to families and individuals desiring to obtain basic needs stability, greater independence and self sufficiency.
Staff help families prepare for successful employment opportunities. We help individuals gain and retain employment with benefits, provide follow up services to ensure long term job retention and build community partnerships to support these efforts.
This is addressed through basic needs financial assistance programs, family and workforce development activities including case management, life skills, educational and vocational development and individual counseling.

What is WSOS Center Child Care?
Direct Operated - Children receive services for up to 12 hoursper day, 5 days per week in one of WSOS's centers. Parents and/or the Department of Job and Family Services pay the child care, while WSOS pays for the educational experience of the child atsome centers. At this time, this option is available in Fremont, Tiffin, Oak Harbor and Clyde.
Contract Center - Children receive services for up to 12 hoursper day, 5 days per week in a private child care center that WSOS contracts with. Parents and/or theDepartment of Job and Family Services pay the child care, while WSOS pays for the educationalexperience of the child.
Bowling Green Child Care - Children enrolled in this program attend the Jordan Center for a fee. We serve Infants, Toddlers and Preschoolers in this option.
All of these options provide:
Provides a comprehensive childcare service for income-eligible 3- to 5-year-olds
Serves children with/out special needs.
Contracts with state-licensed childcare centers to provide a wonderful preschool experience.
Provides training to the childcare centers' staff.
Is a world of growth and fun.

An application is completed for each child to use the service
Kids complete a physical and dental exam and have up-to-date immunizations
Meal & Snack
Children are served either breakfast or lunch and/or a snack.
