WSOS provides comprehensive family development, workforce development, education and child care assistance and other support services to families and individuals desiring to obtain basic needs stability, greater independence and self sufficiency.
Staff help families prepare for successful employment opportunities. We help individuals gain and retain employment with benefits, provide follow up services to ensure long term job retention and build community partnerships to support these efforts.
This is addressed through basic needs financial assistance programs, family and workforce development activities including case management, life skills, educational and vocational development and individual counseling.

NASCC & Civic Youth Justice Program
Brief Overview
The NASCC & Civic Youth Justice Program is operated at the Barney Quilter Civilain Conservation Camp, located in Green Springs, Ohio. The focus of the program is to help young adults advance into productive careers and to gain self-sufficiency.
Program Goals
The goals of the program is to provide young adults with hands on vocational, and life skills that will lead them toward self-sufficency.
Who's Eligible?
The Civic Justice Corps program serves those ages 18-24 who have been court involved, or are currently court involved. The participants of this program participate in community activities and work projects sponsored by the NASCC Rural Response program that is also operated by WSOS. While in the program, corps members have the opportunity to earn a living stipend, and also earn educational awards up to $4,725 a year. Upon completion of the program, participants are placed in either private sector jobs or post-secondary education opportunities.
