Overview

Provides utility assistance for electric bills. Also provides air conditioners for those who qualify.

Benefits

• Available assistance up to $175.00, depending on what is currently owed on bill at time of appointment.
• Air conditioners are also available to those 60 years of age or older who have not received one in the previous three years.

Eligibility Requirements

• Must be 60 years of age or older.
  • If under 60 years old, must have a medical condition verified by a physician that electricity is a necessity in the home because of the condition.

For households with more than 8 people add $1,636.25 per person to the 3 Month Income Limit; add $6,545 per person to the Yearly Income Limit.
