Toledo Community Foundation - YouthBuild (18-24)

Overview


Toledo Community Foundation - YouthBuild is a unique program serving out of school youth between the ages of 18 to 24 mostly from low income communities, that have dropped out of school, and are unemployed. YouthBuild provides academic education through a GED program, vocational skills training, personal counseling, positive peer support, leadership development, job placement assistance, and follow-up support services.

Benefits


Participants are assigned a case manager to assist them in developing construction related skills and obtain their GED.

Eligibility Requirements


The program is for for participants in Lucas County with preference to One Village:

  • Out of school Adults ages 18-24
  • Priority preference for High School drop outs
