Head Start (HS) Childcare Program - 3 to 4 yrs. old

Overview


Children will receive full day/full year care because of parent employment or educational pursuit. Children will receive a morning snack, lunch, and an afternoon snack. Children will experience quality early education care with developmentally appropriate materials and practices provided by educated and experienced staff.

Benefits


Children will receive school readiness experiences as well as developmental screenings and assessments. Medical, mental health, nutrition, and dental services are also provided. Families will have opportunities for parenting education, referrals to community resources, and volunteer experiences.

Eligibility Requirements


All families with children 3 to 4 years old in need of childcare because of parent employment or educational pursuit are encouraged to apply. While eligibility is based on federal poverty guidelines, we will look at each family’s situation and assist them in finding the best option for their family’s circumstances. Children with special needs are always welcome!
