OverviewChildren enrolled in this program attend classes 3 ½ hours daily, Monday through Thursday during the school year. Each family receives at least two home visits and two parent-teacher conferences per year. The center-based program is a traditional preschool program, with group sizes between 15 and 20 children. Children participate in hands-on learning experiences. They will receive a nutritional meal and snack while at the program. BenefitsChildren will receive school readiness experiences as well as developmental screenings and assessments. Medical, mental health, nutrition, and dental services are also provided. Families will have opportunities for parenting education, referrals to community resources, and volunteer experiences. Our philosophy stresses positive self-esteem to promote growth of each child - and parent! Eligibility RequirementsAll families with children 3 to 4 years old are encouraged to apply. While eligibility is based on federal poverty guidelines, we will look at each family’s situation and assist them in finding the best option for their family’s circumstances.
