Overview

First Energy is an energy efficiency program that is used in combination with the Home Weatherization Assistance Program (HWAP).

Benefits

People enjoy a more comfortable, safer and healthier home that costs less to live in.
At no cost, the household could receive:

• Insulation - attic, floor, walls, pipes, ducts
• Energy efficient light bulbs
• Refrigerator
• New energy efficient water measures (low flow showerheads, aerators, hot water heater blanket)
• Consumer education

Eligibility Requirements

• Must be a Toledo Edison or Ohio Edison customer and be HWAP eligible.
