Electrical Partnership Program (EPP)

Overview


EPP is a residential energy efficiency program that can help customers make new choices about how they use electricity. This is a free program to eligible households.

Benefits


Benefits include the use of electrical measures that address lighting and appliance efficiency and energy efficiency education. People enjoy living in a home that use less electricity, thereby reducing their energy consumption and costs

At no cost, the household could receive:
  • New refrigerator(s)
  • New freezer(s)
  • New energy efficient light bulbs
  • New energy efficient water measures (low flow showerheads, aerators, hot water heater blanket)
  • Consumer education


Eligibility Requirements


  • Electricity must be provided by Toledo Edison, Ohio Edison or American Electric Power
  • Must have 12 month history of electrical usage at current address
  • Must consume at least a calculated 4000 KWH (kilowatt hours) of electricity per year
  • Must be on PIPP or be PIPP eligible which is 150% of poverty guidelines. See income guidelines.
