Employment and Training For Youth (14-21)

Overview


This program is income based and youth need an additional barrier. These programs provide youth with educational and occupational training along with case management and supportive services.

Benefits


Participants are assigned a case manager to assist the youth in obtaining the skills needed in today’s employment market. Services consist of but, not limited to:
  • One on one mentoring
  • Leadership activities
  • Assistance with educational planning
  • Occupational skills training


Eligibility Requirements


This program is based on total family income along with one additional barrier. Barriers are:
  • Basic skills deficient
  • Youth offender
  • Pregnant or parenting youth 
  • Youth with a disability 
  • Foster child 
  • Youth in need of additional assistance
