Come to the All Together Fremont (formerly Dignity & Respect) event on Saturday, Aug. 4, 9 a.m.-1 p.m. in downtown Fremont in conjunction with the Croghan Colonial Bank Fremont Farmers’ Market.

All Together Fremont showcases our city’s diverse art, music, and dance performances, and also includes many local organizations, agencies and programs that serve the people who work and live in our community.

This year, we are excited to bring Sogbety Diomande, who will entertain with a West African drum performance and workshop; Italian accordionist Ernest Corsi; Latin jazz/rock guitarist Victor Samalot; the Fremont High School drumline and other area entertainers.

Also included in the day’s schedule are youth athletic games courtesy of Fremont Parks and Recreation, a senior tent with activities hosted by local assisted living and nursing care facilities and WSOS Senior Services, and other activities hosted by other organizations.

All Together Fremont also include a school supply giveaway sponsored by Living in Faith Together (LIFT) of Fremont. LIFT will be giving away 800 bags of supplies beginning at 9 a.m. at the event while supplies last.

All Together Fremont is supported by contributions from U.S. Bank, Brown & Brown Insurance of Toledo, the City of Fremont, and Fremont City Schools. The event is organized by WSOS Community Action Commission, Downtown Fremont Inc., Fremont City Schools, Transpire Mental Health, Terra State Community College, Fremont Parks & Recreation, Ohio Migrant Council, Camp Fire Sandusky County, Sandusky County Habitat for Humanity, and Parkmont Wealth.
