A mark of a great employee is that they don’t bring up a problem without proposing a solution as well. It’s a great principle to teach our children. The next time they start whining or saying something is impossible, ask them what they should do about it. Take the constant “problem-solver” role off your plate and begin to delegate it to your children. Share ways that you help your children to problem solve.
